Purpose

Auriga IT Consulting Pvt. Ltd. is committed to ensuring the continuity of its business operations and the uninterrupted delivery of services to its customers during disruptive events. This Business Continuity Policy and Business Continuity Plan (BCP) establishes the framework for responding to incidents, minimizing operational impact, and restoring critical business functions within acceptable timeframes.

Events Covered

This policy applies to disruptions resulting from events such as:

  • Natural disasters (earthquake, flood, storm, etc.)
  • Fire or other building emergencies
  • Power outages
  • Internet or telecommunications failures
  • Pandemic or public health emergencies
  • Civil disturbances or government-imposed restrictions
  • Transportation disruptions
  • Any other event that materially affects normal office operations.

Business Continuity Measures

Where reasonably practicable, Auriga IT Consulting Pvt. Ltd. may implement one or more of the following measures:

  • Temporary remote working arrangements.
  • Alternate work locations.
  • Redistribution of work among available personnel.
  • Prioritization of critical business activities.
  • Communication with customers regarding operational status.
  • Coordination with relevant stakeholders for resumption of normal services.

Implementation of these measures shall depend upon the nature and severity of the disruption and the availability of resources.

Communication

During significant disruptions, the organization will use available communication channels, including telephone, email, and approved collaboration platforms, to communicate with employees and customers regarding operational status and business continuity arrangements.

Customer-Specific Considerations

For projects where customer-owned infrastructure, laptops, development environments, repositories, VPN access, or other assets are provided by the customer:

  • Auriga's responsibility is to ensure the availability of qualified personnel, effective communication, project continuity, and adherence to agreed operational procedures.
  • In the event of disruptions affecting customer-managed infrastructure, Auriga will coordinate with the customer's designated teams to minimize service impact and resume project activities as quickly as reasonably possible.

Compliance

  • All employees are expected to comply with this policy and cooperate during business continuity events.
  • Failure to comply may result in corrective action in accordance with company policies.
