Kapila Pashu Aahar, a division of Kamdhenu Cattle Feed Pvt. Ltd., has been a trusted manufacturer and supplier of high-quality cattle feed to Indian cattle farmers since 1991. However, the company faced various challenges due to its large scale of operations. Challenges:

Kamdhenu Cattle Feed Pvt. Ltd. encountered several operational hurdles, including

  1. Lack of vehicle tracking: The company had no system in place to track incoming and outgoing vehicles, including trucks and employee vehicles.

1.  Kapila in Factory Vehicle Movement App: Auriga IT designed a solution that captured vehicle weights upon entry and exit, allowing for reconciliation with the weight mentioned in the challan. Additionally, the system integrated with cameras to detect potential tampering and verify the loaded materials. The solution enabled Kamdhenu Cattle Feed Pvt. Ltd. to:

  • Remotely operate boom barriers and monitor raw materials loaded onto trucks.
  • Track vehicle history and identify any tampering related to packaging or vehicles.
  • Allow entry for employee vehicles without mandatory registration.

2. Kapila Agro App: Auriga IT developed a system that enabled Kapila distributors and retailers to place orders, access real-time order history, and monitor inventory data. For sales personnel, the Kapila mobile app automatically captured their location and events using GPS. Key features of the app included:

  • Role and permission assignment based on user duties.
  • Automated calculation of conveyance amounts for salespeople visiting different sites.
  • Comprehensive records and performance evaluation of employees within specific time frames using date filters.

3. Kapila Warehouse App: This solution streamlined processes for quality testing, assessment, and efficient lab entry of raw materials by assigning a token number to each truck. The app captured crucial truck data, including entry and unloading dates, raw material names, and truck registration numbers. Its benefits included:

  • Facilitating efficient lab entry and checks of raw materials.
  • Simplifying data entry through the digitization of processes using the Kapila Warehouse App.
  • Easy tracking of trucks by registration and token numbers, with the ability to update truck details effortlessly.
