OTOO is an education startup aimed at making quality education accessible to everyone. They recognize that every student learns differently and that personalized learning is key. Their platform offers one-to-one online tuition, helping students learn at their own pace, get help with doubts, and achieve better academic results.

Problem Statement

Picture this: a passionate teacher with years of experience, ready to share their knowledge online. Across town, a student struggles with a tough subject. Both want to connect, but how? The online tutoring world was missing a platform that could make that perfect match. OTOO, a one-to-one tuition platform for all, wanted to solve this problem by connecting teachers, parents, and institutions together on a single platform. Their idea was to make teacher screening easy and quality learning accessible to everyone.

Challenges

We build the OTOO website and mobile app with teachers, parents, and students in mind. Our goal was to create a platform accessible to everyone, empowering all stakeholders to track their progress easily and achieve their learning goals.

Screening Teacher- Finding the right online tutors can feel like searching for a needle in a haystack! They needed a way to quickly filter out unsuitable candidates so their team could focus on those with real potential.

Ensuring Teacher Quality-Before the pre-onboarding checklist, OTOO had limited control over teacher quality, leading to inconsistent student experiences. Additionally, finding the perfect match between parents’ needs and the right teacher was a tedious and time-consuming process

Lack of Centralized Platform- With three key stakeholders (teachers, students, and parents) all needing different things, things. Teachers couldn’t easily track progress, parents faced difficulty finding the right tutors, and students struggled to navigate online class options.

Solutions

Admin Panel- We created a robust admin panel to streamline teacher screening, saving their team time and ensuring quality from the start. Additionally, parent requirements are carefully mapped through offline calls, clarifying initial details and uncovering the true needs for each student.

Teacher Verification System- To ensure a consistent level of quality and expertise on the platform, we implemented a robust pre-onboarding checklist for all potential teachers. This comprehensive checklist covers essential criteria (like qualifications, experience, etc.). The checklist is further verified by OTOO’s offline apps.

Unified Platform for Students, Parents, and Teachers- We designed tailored apps for teachers, parents, and students. Teachers can track progress to improve their lesson plans. Parents can choose the best tutors using profiles and reviews. Students benefit from a simple interface for scheduling and attending online classes.
